Godheim, an evil, broken-hearted genius scientist from the Moon (now a sort of abandoned colony with restricted access) was behind the revolt. Takashi was arrested, but later the Earth Government discovered that Dr. In a freak accident caused by an explosion during a rebellion by people of the moon who attacked Earth, the plane that was converted into digital information was sent to the virtual world while Takashi's robot information was rematerialized into a real robot. One day while they were playing, a scientific experiment using the same satellite was being conducted involving teleporting an American plane from New York to Japan. They would play by sending data to each other using satellite technology. Takashi, who began as a mere online game fan, developed a small virtual world with his friend David from New York City, in which they played their robot combat game. The anime is set in the future where the Earth is unified under a world government called the Earth Federation and is centered on young middle school student Takashi Katori and his classmate/best friend/love interest, Olivia Lawrence. In South Korea, a pirated version was made based on the Japanese footage and aired under the title Video Ranger 007. It was broadcast in Latin America as El Super Lasser. It is also referred to as Rezarion, Laserion and its literal translation Video Senshi Laserion. It aired on TBS from March 4, 1984, to February 3, 1985. This show at least emphasizes how great the modern sports anime have become.Video Warrior Laserion ( Japanese: ビデオ戦士レザリオン, Hepburn: Bideo Senshi Rezarion) is a Japanese anime television series animated by Toei Animation. Nevertheless, it's not too bad and I will check out the movie this weekend. This show had a lot of pointless opponent characters with little or no backstory.

Shows like Chihayafuru and Kuroko no Basuke do this well by giving more depth to their side characters and future rivals of the main team. Having them in the show made it so cringe worthy. Kazumi is so badly written (see my post in episode 56 discussion) and Natsuko as well.

For a 58 episode series, they had to throw in a badly written love triangle, lots of romance teasing and the male lead had to be oblivious as well? Omg, adding it made the already cheesy show, even more cheesier. It was obvious they would win and every match was predictable except for a few. Some matches (the one before this match was the best soccer match I've seen in anime) I liked how they were all skilled in different aspects (technique, pure power, and goalie-ing)

Better than Whistle! but not better than Giant Killing or Ginga e Kickoff!!. EPIC show one of if not the best football anime It's like in the middle for me.
